Vessel History & Configuration
Originally built as a Yawl, which included a small mizzenmast (a Cal 25 mast) and a large stainless steel bow pulpit. The pulpit was designed to counterbalance the rig by moving the forestay 24 inches forward. The mizzenmast was removed in the early 1970s, and the large bow pulpit was removed in 2004. The boat is presently reconfigured back to original sloop specifications.
In 1978, the boat was purchased in Long Beach, CA, and sailed to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. It was berthed at the Waikiki Yacht Club from 1981 until 2000, then delivered to Sausalito, California, where she remained until December 2004 before relocating to Newport Beach, CA.
